BD FACSAria

The BD FACS Aria delivers high speed sorting and multicolor capabilities for up to 7 colors. This instrument has two lasers, a 488-nm and 633-nm wavelength. In addition the Aria offers sort capabilities for two way sorting into microtubes, 12X75mm, and 15mL tubes. Four way sorting into microtubes and 12X75mm tubes is also available in addition to, slide and plate sorting into 6, 24, 4, 96, and 384 well plates.

Five wavelengths are detected from the 488-nm laser: 530/30, 576/26, 610/20, 695/40, and 780/60. Another two colors from the 633-nm laser and those include: 660/20 and 780/60.

The Aria offers higher optical sensitivity for populations such as lymphocytes, granulocytes and macrophages. Forward and side scatter sensitivity improvements allows for the separation and more accurate identification of smaller cell types such as platelets, bacteria, and beads as small as 0.5 microns.

The sorting technology at the UCASC can help your research reach new levels or results with better accuracy and less time.
