Equipment

1. Becton Dickinson FACSCalibur is equipped with four PMTs allowing for four-color analysis using a 488nm and a 635nm laser.

2. BD FACSAria is equipped with 8 PMTs allowing for seven-color analysis using a 488nm and a 633nm laser.  The Aria is the first high-speed sorter with a fixed-alignment flow cell. Up to 7 colors can be analyzed on this instrument.

3. Becton Dickinson FACSVantage SE with FACSDiVa (Digital) Option is equipped with 8 PMTs allowing for seven-color analysis using a 488nm air-cooled argon, a 633nm helium-neon laser and a 351nm ultra-violet laser.

4. iCyt Reflection with dual sort heads and Infectious cell sorting offers a 488nm and 635nm laser for each sort head.  Up to 7 colors can be analyzed on this instrument.

5. Leica Confocal Scanning Mircroscope (LCS SP2 AOTF)-The system is equipped with 4 lasers (Red HeNe 633nm, Green HeNe 543nm, Argon 458/476/488/496/514 nm, Argon UV) with 3 PMTs and is capable of collecting up to 3 colors simultaneously and up to 8 colors with each image. Common uses include quantitative confocal image analysis, 3D reconstruction, FRAP, and FRET. Scaning resolution is up to 4096 x 4096 pixels. Software includes 3D reconstruction with rendering, multi-color analysis, FRAP analysis, FRET analysis, animation, sterio imaging, single layer projection and quantitative analysis, time lapse collection, ratio quantification, and co-localization analysis of 2 or 3 colors.
