In order to maximize growth and excellence, the OSU Dorothy M. Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute concentrates research efforts in four areas that lead the institute into its next phase of scientific development. The four programmatic areas take into consideration many of the institute's existing strengths and promises to lay the groundwork for building bridges between basic science and clinical and translational investigation.
